Founded in 2002 in The Bahamas by PJ Douglas Sands, LUXE Worldwide Travel, Meetings & Groups began as a destination wedding and event design boutique and evolved into a global travel, meetings, events and concierge travel firm. Today, LUXE serves discerning leisure travelers, corporate clients, groups, organizations, destination wedding clients, and experience-driven travelers who expect seamless planning, elevated service, and unforgettable moments.

A graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, PJ moved overseas to pursue a career in hospitality and tourism — and quickly realized a 9-to-5 would never build the life she envisioned: to live well, travel well, and invest well.
At 25, while living in The Bahamas, she retired from corporate life and launched her first company. Today, as Founder & CEO of The DS3 Group, LUXE Worldwide Travel, and DS3 MoneyWorks, she has built five-plus businesses and stands among the most recognized travel, tourism and business strategists across the U.S. and the Caribbean.
Over two decades, PJ has coached 500+ clients in 22 countries — celebrities, tourist boards, airlines, music labels, professional associations and ambitious solopreneurs — helping them grow income and expand their brand footprint with her signature MoneyMaker's Mindset™ approach to generational wealth.

Founded in The Bahamas
PJ Douglas Sands opens 'A Design For Destiny' Weddings & Events — a storefront in Palmdale, Nassau, New Providence and the first business on record in The Bahamas licensed under the 'online store / website' category, offering 2,500+ invitations, stationery and personalized favors for weddings and special occasions. The boutique becomes the foundation of LUXE.
2005
Industry Recognition
PJ helps establish The Bahamas Bridal Association and becomes one of the first Bahamians certified by the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPICC). Her weddings are featured in Brides, Town & Country, Vogue, Special Events and Destination Weddings & Honeymoons — and on Weddings of a Lifetime and Entertainment Tonight.
2007
Full-Service Travel
Expands the on-island DMC into full-service travel — cruises, all-inclusive vacations, girlfriend getaways, honeymoons and destination weddings — serving U.S., Bahamian and international clientele. Opens a second storefront boutique in Ocho Rios, Jamaica — Signature Weddings Jamaica — offering destination wedding and event planning with 2,500+ special occasion products.
2010
Becomes LUXE Worldwide
Rebrands as LUXE Worldwide Travel, Meetings & Groups to reflect the scale of large-format events, conferences, conventions and music festivals coordinated for VIP local and international clientele.
